Advanced Printing Systems (APS) has packed high-end features into a low-cost, compact design to create the
KM290-HRS Kiosk Module
. This 2-inch kiosk module has a footprint smaller than a CD case with an adjustable paper roll bracket that can accommodate rolls up to 140 cm in diameter. A smaller size with more room for paper makes integration easy and keeps kiosks and self-service applications up and running.
The KM290-HRS offers full control over printing quality and speed (up to 120 mm/sec), an integrated control board with 2 communication ports (RS232 and USB), a Near End of Paper sensor, black hole/mark detection and a heavy-duty cutter.
The KM290-HRS also features an infrared optical sensor to prevent paper jams by sensing when the bezel is blocked and putting the printer into sleep mode; once it senses the blockage is removed, the printer completes the print-out. An external keyboard with on/off line status and paper feed buttons make the KM290-HRS extremely user-friendly.
The KM290-HRS is the ideal kiosk solution for applications where a compact size and low price are critical, but high end features are a must.
